So here’s the thing … I was reflecting back on my first week of blogging and realized we’ve quickly moved into BFF territory … you have seen me with no make up on after all! And what kind of BFF would I be if I never invited you over to my house?! Ya, we need to correct this ASAP … so it’s time for a HOUSE TOUR!! Or more accurately, a condo tour. A 600 square foot condo to be precise, so it will be a quick one!
My kitchen is tiny, but the layout is super functional … best part – I can cook an entire meal without ever moving my feet! 😉 In a small space you need to get creative with storage, so I’m using a narrow countertop and glass jars to store a lot of my pantry items.
Looking out from the kitchen, past the bar stools, is my living room.
That little corner with the chair is my favourite spot this time of year to curl up with a book and cup of tea. Appropriately, the picture on the wall says “This is my happy place”.
This desk is my newest addition to the space. I have wanted a little office space ever since I moved in six years ago but didn’t have room for one. After re-arranging everything a few months ago I figured out a spot and went on the hunt for a desk. After MANY trips to various furniture stores I wasn’t having any luck, and then came across this cute little desk at an antique market. And the best part … it was only $60! #steal I’m still on the lookout for the perfect chair to go with it (have any suggestions for me? comment below!)
Off of the living room is the bedroom. It fits a queen sized bed, and could probably even squeeze in a king. And yes, I am thirty and still have a teddy bear.
By far the best feature of my bedroom is the closet. For a 600 sq. ft. condo, I think about 100 sq. ft of it is in this closet! While I was snapping this picture of the closet I remember thinking how organized it was. Looking at it now I’m like … ?!?!?! 😛 At least there aren’t any clothes on the floor!
So there you have it. You’ve now seen me with no make-up on and visited my house … I think we’re officially BFFs! Hope you have a fabulous day and I’ll be back on Wednesday with an easy weeknight dinner recipe.
