Banana Oatmeal Muffins
Banana Oatmeal Muffins that are healthy enough for breakfast, or throw in a handful of chocolate chips for an ooey gooey treat!
whole wheat flour
Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mash bananas with a fork.
Add wet ingredients to mashed bananas.
Add dry ingredients to the wet.
Fold in chocolate chips (if using).
Let mixture sit for 5-10 mins before putting into muffin tins.
*You can skip this step but I don't recommend it. Letting it rest will result in fluffier muffins!
Transfer mixture to muffin tin and bake for 20mins at 400 degrees.
If making small muffins, cut cooking time in half.
- use parchment baking cups. Unlike the regular paper ones, half your muffin won't get stuck on these. I picked these up at Loblaws, but they are also available on Amazon.
