Creamy Mexican Hot Chocolate

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 pinch salt (approx. 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 pinch cinnamon (approx 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (approx 1/8 tsp)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake well to mix.
  2. Pour ingredients into a small pot and heat at low/med until it comes to a rolling boil.
  3. Pour into a mug and ENJOY!
