Classic Hummus

  • 1 can chickpeas (15 oz)
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp paprika


  1. Rinse and drain chickpeas.
  2. Add all ingredients, except for paprika, to a blender or food processor and blend for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Scrape sides of your food processor, and add another tbsp. of water if you would like a thinner consistency. Blend again for 1 min.
  4. Transfer hummus to a serving dish, top with a sprinkle of paprika & drizzle of olive oil and serve with pita or veggies for dipping.
